I would like to implement a couple of standing desks in my classroom. I believe a standing desk may help active students stay engaged, provide a better learning space, and have fewer disruptions with peers. Students get tired of needing to sit at a desk in all of their classes. Being able to experiment with the location and witness student achievement from utilizing a standing desk in the classroom, may provide for a positive outcome for all students to have the option of a standing desk. Students benefit while standing up for learning. I believe standing desks will allow students to have a little more movement, help them stay focused, and have a positive learning experience.
