Not all my families have the resources to provide their own back to school supplies. I want every student to feel like they are ready to take on the school year and be successful. Students can feel ready for success with the right tools. In all my experiences teaching I have found that if students don't feel successful from the start, it is difficult to keep them engaged and interested in school. I can do this by having a few basic supplies ready for them. I will have a backpack filled with basic needs for 10 students who most need them.
