J.E. Moss Elementary School consists of almost 1,000 students that represent 26 different languages. Our diverse school is full of students who are eager and wanting to learn. The majority of my students live in homes that English is not spoken at all. The only chance at learning English is within our school walls. I incorporate lots of hands on activities as well as lots of opportunities for students to speak in their first and second language. All of my students are extremely eager to strengthen their English language skills. Unfortunately I am limited when it comes to resources I currently have in my classroom for them to practice these skills.
