My students are busy, active, and eager learners, even with the limited supplies that we have. I teach at an urban school where many of my students are receive free or reduced priced lunch. Our school qualifies as a Title I school. The majority of our families are from a low socioeconomic status, so they have a hard time providing the students with basic needs. As a teacher at my school, I face many challenges with funding to be able to buy materials to help improve my students academics.
