My students are like a bag of Chex Mix. They are diverse, colorful, and some are more difficult to absorb than others. I have students who come from widely varying social classes, some of parents are very wealthy and others are considered homeless. This divide is obviously apparent when it comes to looking at their learning and lexile levels. As a whole however our school is a very open and caring atmosphere trying to set high standards and expectations that help students fulfill their academic and personal goals.
