My students inspire me everyday to be the best teacher that I can be and I want them to have a place where they can read and discuss literature together! This reading corner will enable my students (who come from various backgrounds) to have a common ground- literature. This literature will help evoke apathy, and elicit to them that they have a common love which is to read. My students are eager to read daily. They all have different reading interests and I want this reading corner to enable them to find a piece of literature that allows them to collaborate. This will help foster a caring learning classroom. A reading corner will allow my students an opportunity to express themselves individually and heighten their various literature interests. Unfortunately, my classroom is not equipped with a special place for them to read and I am hoping that this reading corner will allow them to express their individualities through literature.
