These materials will play a HUGE role in my classroom. I will use these materials in my classroom to help build my students financial literacy skills and math skills. With this technology we can analyze stock trends on Google Finance in real time. It is important to recognize trends in stocks as it can lead to economic success and a proficient financial literacy level. Having this laptop will allow me to work one on one with students during the Stock Market Game we play in class. Working on this laptop I can help guide them to useful resources that professional stockbrokers use. I work with an excellent group of high school students who always come to class motivated. This is my second year teaching Economics and Financial Literacy and I have learned so much. Having these resources will prove to be a catalyst in making sure my students are informed about the stock market. Having updated technology will allow my students to monitor stocks and future options. My students deserve to have the knowledge of how the stock market operates. I know from experience that this can be a very intimidating topic. However, I know that I have the potential to make this a very enjoyable and entertaining subject with the tools that are donated through this project. With this technology, my students will have a wide knowledge base about how the stock market operates. The paper is essential so I can print out stock trends and charts to analyze with my students. Having copies of important speeches from politicians is also important as they have the power to create major shifts in the stock market. I speak from personal experience that being involved in your own learning makes it that much more special.
