My school is a title one school. 90% of the students are on free and reduced lunch. My students come from homes where they sleep on the floor or share a bed with siblings. Their parents often times work multiple jobs just to pay the rent. I love that no matter their background, my students are motivated and want to succeed. They are interested in the world around them and want it to change for the better.
