In our classroom, we use collaborative tables instead of desks. This allows the students to be able to work together as a team and bring the benefits of their different learning styles to their group. The downside to using collaborative tables instead of desks means zero storage for each student. With the chair pockets, students would be able to keep all of their materials with them and not have to get up out of their seat every time we transition to the next activity. All of these factors together, means more time learning and having fun and less time looking for our pencils.
