Welcome to my class in need! There are so many things I could ask for but I will try to narrow it down to the most pressing items that will amount to the most student engagement possible. My students are eager to learn and lack many of the resources that other schools have and take for granted. I have students coming to me every month for new school supplies like pencils, folders, and even backpacks. Our school lacks the funding for top notch technology in every classroom even though studies show that technology effectively engages students in the learning process and gets them excited about sharing new ideas. Someday, I hope my classroom will be well-enough equipped to lead my students into the global and technological future before them. Thanks to Donors Choose, that hope may become a reality!
