My students are each unique, have different learning levels, and diverse communication needs. It is very important to me to help each student reach their potential, both in Speech-Language Therapy, and in other areas of their life. As a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a range of students, I work all over the school campus, often I push into their classroom, and visit them during lunch or recess. Because I am always on the move. It ls crucial to be able to have highly engaging resources at my fingertips, since our school ls a widespread campus. Having the versatility of an iPad, and utilizing apps that have been specifically designed for speech-language therapy, mean that I can target articulation, language along with Pragmatic at the touch of a button. Using apps that have been designed for the iPad will give these students a voice, and increase their ability to participate during therapy activities with their peers.
