My students come from a variety of backgrounds and have a variety of interests. On the other hand, they are typical first grade students that are fun and energetic. They are sponges who are ready to soak up every ounce of first grade knowledge! Every student is different and has their own story. My school is a "community school" and is in my own community, my neighborhood. There is a great sense of community and responsibility for each student.
