I have twenty-three of the kindest, sweetest first graders at our pre-K - first grade, small town school. They love outdoor recess, Daily 5, playing "school" on the whiteboards during indoor recess, and read-aloud time right after lunch. I have yet to have a first grade class treat each other with the amount of kindness that this one does, making each day I spend as their teacher a joy.
