I teach in a poverty stricken Title I school where all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. Most of my students come to school to be loved and get away from the real world. Because many of my students live in shelters, with friends or relatives, or move frequently, they do not have access to anything extra. With money so tight in our community there is no money for anything extra at school either, no library, no art class, that all lands on me as their classroom teacher. By funding our project you will help underprivileged students gain the same knowledge of their peers and empower each of my student to break the cycle of poverty with education.
