Greetings! I am a multi-grade teacher of students with emotional behavior disorders at a Title 1 school in Gwinnett County. There are many challenges that we face on a daily basis. One being students who have challenges with reading and math which causes the students to act out in negative ways. My students also distract each other from learning when they perceive the content is challenging. Project funded by donors will help my students feel successful in our exceptional learning environment. Being at a Title 1 school we often don't have the resources we need and your help will be invaluable. Teaching students with emotional and behavioral disorders is a calling for me. I choose to work with the most challenging children who have extreme emotional and behavioral challenges. These are boys and girls who need constant reassurance that they can achieve at or above the same rate as their nondisabled peers.
