This project will supply much needed resources for our music classroom. We have very limited funds to supply instruments and materials for every kid in the classroom. We frequently share and borrow supplies. I see all 600 5th graders in our building every week and it is vital for them to be able to have hands on experience with instruments and materials to help them understand how to count beats, read rhythms, and put their music education into practice. My students have not had a typical school year in the recent past and music helps students to express themselves and connect to others through artistry.
