I am fortunate to teach a first grade class of students who love to read! I have a high ESOL population in my class and am always striving to provide classroom experiences that will enhance their vocabulary and learning. Each year, my class practices a musical story to perform for their parents and peers. This performance gives them the chance to practice their fluency and expression while reading.
