The STEM K'nex kits that I am requesting will help my high ability students with hands-on STEM experiences. I would love to use these STEM kits for my 1st through 4th grade students so they all benefit from these resources. My school does not have any STEM materials available to use, and my students love to learn with hands-on tools. I would also love to bring STEM to the girls in my classroom. I would like them to have positive experiences with STEM so that they view a career in STEM as an option in the future. Students will work together in small groups to work on critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving. I have seen how excited my students get when they can work with fun and engaging materials. It also deepens their understanding of STEM because they have a tactile experience, and these experiences often only happen at school.
