We acquired seven new iPads for our literacy department, but they do not have chargers/protective covers. Our teachers and students use programs like Reading A-Z, Flipgrid, and Quizlet to gain additional practice in language acquisition skills. These skills readily transfer to students' efforts in content classes. Students greatly enjoy the interactive opportunity to practice their English skills independently, and with friends, while improving their content knowledge, as well. Beyond practicing their speaking and listening skills during instructional time, as well as their reading and writing skills, when completing their homework, our students crave opportunities for independent language practice. Technology, such as the iPads, help W. match their students' ambitions.
