Would you like to inspire students' exploration of the natural world, facilitate environmental learning, and provide students and teachers with the opportunity to learn outside? If so, we hope you'll consider donating to help our partial Montessori school create five outdoor learning spaces! I am requesting five picnic tables, four sunshade sails, a mountable whiteboard, paintbrushes, stencil kits, and paint which we will use to create five outdoor learning spaces. With your donations, we'll be able to re-purpose a) our unused volleyball court as a shaded outdoor learning space, b) create three outdoor classrooms in the beautiful shaded wood areas of our grounds, and c) re-create the foyer at the back of our school as an outdoor learning space. In addition to creating and utilizing these five outdoor spaces for everyday learning, we hope - over the course of the year - to assist students in forging mini-nature "Elf trails" and obstacle courses that educate others about our school's commitment to environmental restoration, protection, and preservation.
