During the past two years of the pandemic, I have tried to focus more on providing individual and small group learning activity centers so that our students can try to socially distance in our classroom as much as possible. These activities will give my students more variety and offer more advanced choices in their learning centers for math and literacy as we get ready for first grade concepts. Students this age learn best through developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities that spark their imagination. These new activities will be used by many students for years to come!
