The kindergarten students will be able to listen and following along with a variety of different books. This will increase their fluency and word to word correspondence. They will be able to enjoy books independently that they would most likely not be able to read on their own. They get so excited to do things on their own and being able to listen to books helps them engage and help grow their love for reading! This center will create a comfortable space for the kids to engage in reading with their classmates and be able to learn from different books. My students need a listening center and books that they can listen to and follow along with to grow their love for reading!
