My 7th graders are the leaders of tomorrow and strive for excellence despite many challenges they face on a daily basis. Our goal is to "read like champions", not just reading for assignments, but to read to expand our knowledge and use the skills that we've learned to connect to the attributes of life. My students work hard at every opportunity to become better readers and writers. My students are made up 7th grade general education and special education students. They are motivated, eager, and cheerful young scholars. Our school is a 6th grade to 12th grade school, and many of the students feel very happy and excited to be at East Bronx Academy.
