These students are eager and excited to have music classes. They are learning music from a very fundamental level. The school is a neighborhood school where many of the students walk to school. We use Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics based learning with a goal of adding Arts (both visual and music). The students are eager to share their knowledge of music. Starting the music program where the kids are at is the best launch for the curriculum. Technology is a tool students love to engage in and experiment with. With skills developed through the use of what Mac offers, students can see themselves, assess their performances, learn from each other and grow in their understanding of the world of Music and the Arts.
