I am fortunate to be a part of the Hayward Community School District. While I have been a teacher in Hayward for 18 years, I am embarking on a new adventure teaching 4th grade at the Hayward Intermediate School. What I love most about my new school is the enthusiasm our staff has for helping each one of our students achieve. Our school is in a low income/high poverty district serving students in grades 3-5. For some students, the best part of their day is the time they spend at school with their friends and caring teachers. I want to do everything I can to make this year great for the students in my class. I am grateful DonorsChoose exists to help teachers get needed materials for their classrooms!
