My classroom is a 4th grade classroom in a booming oil town in southeast New Mexico. I am teaching in a classroom in a school with a departmentalized 4th and 5th upper grade section. My students come to my class having grown up with their core group of classmates, where staff and students alike are in a school that is a tight-knit family environment. The students I see are ranging from low-level SPED and ELL students to gifted and advanced students will all ability levels. I am truly blessed to teach in such a unique setting where I can build strong relationships with my students and teach reading and the love of writing to them in an engaging and technology-integrated environment every day!
