Laundry needs are a must! Our old machines stopped working last year, and we are looking for funding to replace them. Due to physical needs, our students often need a change of clothes during the school day. The washer & dryer is used about once a day. The students have many hygiene needs, including bibs, blankets, washcloths, and towels. In addition, students practice laundry skills such as transferring clothes between machines, sorting, and folding, when provided adult assistance. Students learn skills as well as feeling clean and ready for the day! These machines are the best choices because their simplicity allows the students to participate in helping out with laundry!
