My first graders are always moving and have trouble sitting still. I want items in my class that will stimulate students to stay active and engaged in school. These stools will help them get their wiggles out while staying engaged in a lesson. I believe this will be very beneficial for my students success in learning. I want to provide my students with many opportunities to stay fit and move throughout the day. I am asking for fitness videos for my students to use during recess when we are unable to go outside. The videos are beneficial to the health of the students and they are fun! I am a frequent yoga participant and am always telling my kids about it. My students have been asking me to teach them yoga moves. I am so excited they want to be more active. My class has 30 minutes of recess time each day but the stability chairs and video will allow at least another 30 minutes of movement. To say that each student can get over 60 minutes of active movement throughout the day is amazing!
