My students like to move around while they work and having adjustable desks will be a big help to them! Many of my students have problems with attention and focus. Allowing them to stand while working provides students the opportunity to move and get any extra energy out while maintaining focus on their work. Additionally, giving students the option to sit or stand provides them with the ability to decide what works best for them throughout the day. This may seem like a simple choice, but providing students with a choice in their education goes a long way in keeping them engaged. In donating to this project, you will provide students the opportunity to remain engaged in learning while allowing them to be themselves! Students can focus on their work without fighting the urge to get up and move around. These desks also provide the ability for students to move their desks easily in order to work with others collaboratively. Students will be able to wheel their desks quickly over to one another without disrupting other students. My students will love the freedom these desks provide.
