The students that I work with struggle academically because they are often times off task/not in their classroom due to behaviors. I help provide students with tools/strategies to help them be successful. The students exhibit difficulties controlling their anger, frustrations, and other emotions. The students strive to be successful throughout the day but lack the tools/strategies to do so on their own. They all work hard to improve their skills such as: calming down/relaxing, focusing/concentration, acceptance/approval, appropriate attention seeking strategies, respect, responsibility, and other life skills. Their behavior intervention skills are growing everyday! Adding a technology piece is just the next step we need!
