My students will benefit from this novel, Wonder, by enhancing their writing process skills and mastery of Oklahoma comprehension objectives. As an eighth grader they have to pass the reading/writing exam in order to receive their drivers license. This literature based curriculum will ensure my students meet all standards and objectives. I want my students to understand about differences and create a stronger learning culture. As a teacher I want to create a culture where my students are becoming strong leaders and are kind to everyone they meet. Being able to read Wonder in my classroom will help my students to see differences and how to use our differences to learn from others through writing and team building activities.
