My students need the opportunity to succeed... I teach in a low economic area in a predominantly Hispanic community. Many of my students will be the first in their families to graduate or go to college. Several of my students don't have support from home and the only encouragement they get comes from their teachers. I know given the right opportunities, that they can become better and overcome any obstacles that come their way.
