All students have the ability to read. When given the proper lesson along with the materials needed to help build the skill of reading they grow without a doubt. Being a lower level teacher I am the first chance a child has at learning the love of reading, I have learned that if students are constantly given reading materials that are far above their level, they become frustrated and soon begin to dislike reading. By donating to our class project you will not only help to improve my students reading skills, but you will also help to build the life of a life long learner. My students need games, reading phones, sight word readers,stickers, and other materials and activities to help focus on phonics, writing, and to help them become fluent readers. This project will forever change the lives of my students because they will be fully engaged in age appropriate learning materials.
