My school is in a rural mountain location and is an low income title one school. Many of my students come from low income and migrant families. Students in my special needs class begin at the age of three and continue through first grade. Students in my classroom have disabilities ranging from autism spectrum, visual impairments and blindness, orthopedic impairments, traumatic brain injury, and significant developmental delays. Many of these students have speech delays and have difficulties in social activities. BUT....my students love to learn and explore the world. They are hungry to read, play, create, and experience life to the fullest.
