These materials will be used for circle time in a pre-k classroom for students with autism. They will use these materials daily and will be able to access them more appropriately as they will be placed at eye level. Our classroom does not have a wall space that will allow me to hang a pocket chart for circle time. The walls all have chalkboards with a shelf that juts out right at students' eye level. With this chart, students will be able to practice letters, counting, calendar skills and more without straining their necks! Due to their disabilities, young age, language needs, and at times experiences with hunger, poverty, and trauma, these students constantly have to navigate a world that is not built for them. Please help me provide them with the materials that they deserve!
