Without my classroom, students won't get the extra help they need. I work in a math lab, which is a class created specifically to help low performing students who aren't Special Ed. I have been seeing students in grades 1-5, and this year I'll be seeing Kindergarten students as well. I see them for 45 minute periods throughout the day. We are hoping that by pulling out select Kindergarten students we can prevent some from being retained.
