I teach Performing Arts to 435 amazing K-3rd graders in Newark, NJ. Over the past 4 years, my scholars have learned to read music, play xylophones, and write their own operas! They've been so excited to start playing their own violins and recorders this year, and they work incredibly hard during class so they can learn new pieces and earn a "solo" at the end of our Performing Arts block.
