My diverse and truly wonderful students share one thing in common: they love hands-on learning, especially in science. Good thing, because I'm a former cell biologist who now teaches special education to elementary school students with a variety of learning challenges. Our classroom is very busy with three grade levels in one class. My students benefit from small group learning and exposure to lots of different ways to learn. While I work intensively with one group, the others are working in pairs on a variety of activities. They benefit greatly from a rich assortment of activities- some very basic, others relying on technology- to keep them engaged and learning. I rely on the generosity of donors like you. I simply can't provide all that my students need and deserve on my own, so thank you for visiting my donors choose site and considering to help us out.
