Our school is a dual-immersion school and has grown tremendously. We are next to a university so education is important in our community. Our second grade students are working on strengthening their math skills. In first grade, they work hard to learn the basic facts and gain understanding with them, but when they get to second grade they need to know them quickly to move on to higher math skills. Children love to use technology and with these tools, they can practice on their own. Speed and accuracy on basic math facts will help students feel confident when they get to more difficult problems. I have some amazing students who have such great potential and would love anything that can help them get even greater success.
