Most of my kindergarten students belong to low-income families. I requested composition notebooks in our beginning of year supplies, but only a few families provided them. I appreciate those parents that really are involved with our activities in our school, but unfortunately, there are those that are not privileged to provide for their kids. We are now working on making stories, writing expository, and they are very excited to be a young author. I would like to support them with that goal by providing them with new writing materials that they can call their own.

About my class
