Many of the computer programs for Reading have voice commands. It is necessary for the students to have their own set of headphones so they can hear, learn, and follow directions. We have been sharing headphones, but it takes time to clean our few headsets and then share. Even if a few students keep their volume low, the class hears the noise and it is distracting for them. With their own set of headphones, students will be able to adjust their own volume and more students could work on their computer programs for literacy.
