My students are inner city students. Their ages range from kindergarten through grade five. These requested materials(Silly Sentence puzzles, listening centers, word families and figurative language games) would benefit the entire school because I am in a position lucky enough to work with each and every student in the school. Unfortunately, we are in a tough spot because N Elementary was forced to relocate after a roof collapsed in the last building. This misfortune and a lengthy librarian position vacancy has led students away from the wonders and potentials that a library could offer.
