This year at our school, we have started a read-at-home program to get more of our students interested in reading. They are off to a excellent start! I have had several students ask if I have any more graphic novels that they can read. Which unfortunately I have to tell them that I only have a graphic novels in my classroom library. Most of my reluctant readers have been requesting graphic novels. The students who are reading graphic novels are so engaged that its hard for them to put their book down. I want this for all of my students. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
