I teach a 3rd grade inclusion class of 24 students. My school is a Stephen Covey Lighthouse School which means we collaborate not only as a staff, but also with the students to create a culture of leadership. The students are provided with meaningful student-leadership roles and responsibilities. Being proactive and taking charge of your own decisions is a big part of our every day routine. My students love working independently and taking responsibility for their own accomplishments. They also thrive on partner and small group work in order to synergize and create more detailed work samples.

About my class
