I am Kindergarten teacher in a low income community. There is a high percentage of children that receive free breakfast/lunch. My school is a K-2 school that always goes over and beyond to ensure the children feel loved and are learning at their full potential. Finances do not always allow for all of the needed materials. Some classes tend to rely on paper and pencil learning, but children need to learn through play. Dramatic play teaches children through authentic experiences and allows for strong social skills!

About my class
