Let's face it...textbooks can be boring and they do not engage students into learning. I already have students who want to learn, but they need a variety of resources. The books "King George, What Was His Problem?" and "Two Miserable Presidents: Everything the Schoolbooks Didn't Tell You About the Civil War" are highly engaging and explain the American Revolution and the Civil War like no other books that I have ever read. These books provide clear understanding, factual information, and relevant content, all while adding a touch of humor in explaining these two history changing events. These books will supplement our curriculum while engaging my students and reminding them that books are NOT always boring.
