My students are an incredible group of 1st-5th graders with a wide range of disabilities and unique needs. In a large Title One school most students come to school early to participate in our breakfast program and return home after school and have little opportunity to move and release the tension that fills their bodies after a long day of sitting still at school. Although my students do not often participate in the regular education curriculum with grade level peers they strive to meet all their goals in my classroom. Resources that will give my students the opportunity to move appropriately in the classroom while still participating in instruction are much needed.
