The resources being requested are to be utilized to implement a professional development to the first and second grade teachers in our school. The professional development with then scaffold onto the students where the teachers will have gained writing strategies that can be implemented immediately. I have requested copies of the book, "Hey, Little Ant" for each teacher and their own writing journals. These materials will act as a vehicle to guide the professional development which then can be transferred into their classrooms. Our students have come to us this year in a deficit as a result of the Covid 19 Pandemic and this professional development will be instructional yet engaging and fun for the students and staff.

About my class
