My students come from a very small rural community. While we have lots of love and compassion for each other, money is very tight. My students and school have what we need to get by, but could use a few things to make learning fun again. While doing a biography project with my 5th grade class, I realized that our library did not have enough books for all of my students. Also, the biographies we do have, were extremely old, outdate, and very well used. I wanted my students to use more resources than just the Internet for their research, but we did not have the books, or money to purchase books for the kids to use.
