I have 22 fantastic first graders who LOVE using technology. Due to limited devices in our room, we currently do not have enough devices to allow each child the opportunity to participate in digital activities daily. My students use devices during Literacy and Math centers. They scan QR codes, respond to classroom post, practice keyboarding fluency and complete assignments on-line. My students are excited about technology, and love when their center rotation involves using technology. We are a bring your own device school, but many of my students do not have their own devices. If our classroom had more devices then I would be able to allow them the opportunity to become 21st Century Learners. I hope to incorporate more Project Based Learning Projects and digital activities in my classroom with support of you!
